Not sure I agree with Point #1 when it comes to athletics or business. Pro athletes hardly are "on their own." They have head coaches, positional coaches, skill coaches, nutritionists, sports psychologists, massage therapists, media trainers -- in short, an elite infrastructure which provides the highest level of specialized support service that this poster suggests is only available to the amateur. In the business world, elite support systems are available, as well, to offer specialized skill-set improvement in areas where a professional might be lacking.

Not sure I agree with Point #2 because professionals must always anticipate what's next; when you're a professional, the stakes are higher.

Not sure I agree with Point #3 because professionals get better when they rely on what they know and focus on what they DON'T know -- as your poster put it: gathering objective information to help them become more knowledgeable on the subject.
