Sustained success cannot be achieved without the right culture. Bill Walsh knew it, John Wooden knew it, Red Aurebach and all other great Coaches and Leaders know it. Let's add two more to the 8 above for a top 10 list; #9 is People are AUTHENTIC. Who you are at work is who you are all the time. There are no pretenders on board preparing to jump ship when things get rough. Consistency in one's actions is a necessary ingredient for success.

#10 is actually already in the list above but needs to be separated and highlighted: MISTAKES ARE WELCOME. We learn from our mistakes. Everybody falls, that's right EVERYBODY. What happens after is more important than the mistake. Just don't make failure a habit.
